• koval.dev is operated by Mike Koval, a sole proprietorship based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
• The content here describes services and shares professional opinion. It is information, not advice for your specific situation, and it does not create a client relationship.
• Pages about accessibility law, tax and payment regulation are a practitioner's plain-language summary. They are not legal, accounting or compliance advice, and regulations change. Verify anything you intend to rely on, or ask me and I will point you at the primary source.
• Prices shown are indicative ranges to help you judge fit. A binding price only exists in a written quote for your scope.
• The Project check answers you from a decision tree, using what you tell it. It is a considered starting point, and it says where it cannot see far enough — but it is not an assessment of your site, and where it touches the AODA it is not legal advice about what you owe. It exists to make the first conversation a better one.

Using the content

• The writing, design and code on this site are mine unless credited otherwise.
• You are welcome to quote and link — a few paragraphs with attribution and a link back needs no permission. That is what it is for.
• Republishing whole pieces, or using the content to train a model you then sell, needs written permission.
• Do not use the site in a way that breaks it or interferes with anyone else using it.

Links out

I link to government sources, standards bodies and other people's work. Those sites are theirs, not mine — I do not control what they publish or how they handle your data. Where I cite a regulation I give the date I checked it, because these things move.

Limits

This site is provided as-is. I keep it accurate and current to the best of my ability, but I do not warrant that it is error-free or continuously available, and I am not liable for loss arising from relying on it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability under an actual engagement is dealt with in that engagement's agreement, not here.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. They may be updated; the date below is the current version, and material changes will be noted here rather than applied quietly.
